Gonna be drinking tons of coffee today.  Professional animator Kenny Roy is hosting a 24 hour live animating session!!  He'll be animating the first shot from his new short film "The Little Painter"  Can't wait, this is gonna be awesome!

What's up all!!


I graduated Westwood College in 2008 with a degree in Animation, althoooouuuggh, the curriculum wasn't the greatest.  Not to say that I didn't have some really awesome teachers, I just didn't think the curriculum focused on animation enough for the animation degree students.  I'd say the teaching ratio was 60% graphic design, 30% how to use all the software, modeling and lighting and the last 10% learning animation.  So needless to say my demo reel was pretty garbage at the end of my tenure there.  Here it is anyway lol

I can't wait to have a better demo reel! : )

First post ever!!!


So, I'm incredibly excited to start Animation Mentor!  I just registered for the Maya Springboard 2012 and I start March 26th.  It's coming right around the corner and I can't wait!!  : )  I'm also very happy to be making some great friends already.  This community ROCKS!!!
